Diane Botwin General Partner
I started Botwin & Company in 1986 with
my parents as a property management company. Today, Botwin Commercial
Development and Botwin Property Management includes over 300,000
square feet of commercial real estate in the Crossroads District
and the Waldo neighborhood of Kansas City, MO, Bonner Springs,
KS, Leawood KS, Topeka, KS and southern Kansas City. My focus is
to provide neighborhood sensitive commercial development. I am
dedicated to sustainable, environmentally friendly design. I love
native prairie grasses, windows that open and planted roofs. I
also think businesses should support the local art scene and so
I have commissioned local artists like Jim Woodfill, Marcie Miller
Gross, and Anne Lindberg to incorporate their visions into my buildings.
I have a BFA in music from Newcomb College at Tulane University and
a law degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of
Law. I hate bullying and love collaboration. I think you should do
your homework and show up prepared, be accountable and open minded.
I adore my staff and enjoy coming to work every single day.

Connie Ramirez
Office Administrator
I joined Diane and Jamie as the Office Administrator
for Botwin Property Management in the summer of 2003. Surprisingly,
I've found that I enjoy the accounting portion of my position enormously,
but not nearly as much as I enjoy the relationships I've developed
with our tenants. We have such a richly varied assortment of businesses
and people that we work with that no two hours in a day are ever
the same. I appreciate our efforts to be thoughtful and sensitive
to our tenants' needs.
